We have a strong research and development program that has been involved
in developing structural systems, ground improvement techniques, fibre
reinforced concrete elements and footing systems.
The Waffle-Pod™ footing system was developed by Koukourou in the
early 80s to dramatically reduce the cost, and improve the performance
of footings for residential structures on reactive clay soils. The Waffle-Pod™
footing system now accounts for a significant percentage of the residential
footings market in Australia.
