Ji-Wan Sohn | Principal Forensic Engineer
Beginning his career as a Structural Engineer, Ji-Wan accumulated significant experience in the design and analysis of challenging engineering projects (values of up to $50 million), which includes conceptual and detailed structural design, and project management of building structures in the primarily commercial and industrial sectors.
In his current role with FMG (since 2009), Ji-Wan is responsible for the assessment, investigation and remediation advice of distressed buildings and structures. This has involved the investigation and analysis of numerous distressed residential, industrial and commercial structures and building failures, in order to determine the causes of the distress and to recommend reinstatement plans and methodologies.
